Job Title: Application Engineer

8944 SigmaTEK Systems, LLC (China) is seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to provide technical support to our customers. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing customer technical needs, suggesting solutions, and delivering training to internal and external partners and customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and/or manufacturing engineering, with a focus on CAD/CAM, sheet metal fabrication, or steel plate processing, and CNC programming. Fluency in Chinese is required, and good English language skills are an advantage.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to work independently, and meet multiple deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows are also essential.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Pre-sales activities: analyzing customer technical needs and suggesting solutions.
  2. Exploring, identifying, and developing new application areas, as well as developing existing areas.
  3. Post-sales activities: resolving implementation problems and conducting training.
  4. Analyzing customers' technical needs, developing proposals outlining how the organization's products and services can meet these needs, and be integrated with the customer's existing systems and equipment.
  5. Responding to more complex technical questions regarding the organization's product, system, or service.
  6. Developing and delivering training to educate internal and external partners and customers on the features of their purchase.
  7. Troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving technical problems that arise during or after implementation.
  8. Developing test applications used for testing modules, including customer-specific components.
  9. Liaising with hardware, software, and systems design engineers to ensure that products and services are modified, configured, and installed per customer needs.
