**Pricing Specialist Role**

The Pricing Specialist at Bluum is responsible for analyzing complex data sets to determine and set competitive prices, driving market share and revenue goals. This role requires strong analytical skills to consider data from multiple sources and support complex pricing models.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and manage a platform for collecting and analyzing pricing and sales data.
  • Work with the pricing manager to implement optimal pricing schemes, maximizing margins and product turnover.
  • Identify and adjust key pricing positions as markets evolve.
  • Collect and analyze market information to ensure an accurate and comprehensive view of current market pricing.
  • Support the ITAD department in large proposals and assist other departments in answering RFQs with IT pricing components.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis and financial modeling scenarios for pricing profitability initiatives.
  • Complete analysis and make recommendations to optimize retail pricing and promotions.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze market conditions, competitor price positioning, and promotional trends.

**Education & Skill Requirements**

  • Post-secondary education in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience with significant exposure to pricing.
  • Experience in a technology field and working with pricing is an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Power BI are required.
  • A creative problem solver with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to organize and present large amounts of pricing data.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate administrative and analytical staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex pricing decisions and analyze outcomes.
  • Fluency in pricing research methodologies.
