Job Title: Tax Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Tax Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our client's Toronto office (working hybrid) and contributing to the success of our software product development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process tax-related documentation for our organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Interact with tax authorities to resolve tax discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage and audit inventories, communicating findings to management and collaborating with analysts, external auditors, and tax employees.
  • Review company data to identify tax benefits and create informative reports for executives.
  • Ensure tax compliance and create financial reports, implementing tax-planning strategies and reviewing submitted tax documents.
  • Make recommendations for improving compliance processes and minimizing tax risks by following strict policies and paying close attention to detail.
  • Identify and evaluate tax costs and savings using various company attributes and expenses.
  • Calculate taxes owed and process and file tax returns, analyzing company tax policies to ensure compliance with the law.
  • Oversee preparation for and conduct audits.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of tax experience.
  • Ability to learn tools such as Adobe and internal developed tools.
  • Proficient with technology, with a solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, and determination.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
