We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Central Communications Operator to join our team at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
Job Summary
The Central Communications Operator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff by responding to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
• Utilize hospital information systems to locate physicians, staff, and patients
• Coordinate the dispatching and coordination of Environmental Services and Transport Services staff
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to FIPPA laws
• Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements
• Minimum Grade 12 education
• 1 year of experience in a Call Centre environment
• Previous experience in a hospital setting is an asset
• Ability to work shift work, weekends, and overnights
