Job Title: Concrete Finisher

KROWN CONCRETE CUTTING & CORING INC. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and physically demanding Concrete Finisher to work on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with concrete finishing, including checking formwork, directing concrete placement, and operating power vibrators.

Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it meets specifications.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in concrete finishing or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment.
  • Physically demanding, with the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
