Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards, meeting the requirements of our clients and adhering to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, such as trowels and floats.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure structural integrity.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect them from the elements.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in concrete finishing.
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty environments, and in cold or hot temperatures.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Sound discrimination and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to wear steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, and gloves as required.
Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
