Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Ekam Concrete Cutting Inc. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fill Hollows and Remove Spots: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Prepare Tenders and Quotations: Prepare tenders and quotations for clients, ensuring accurate estimates and materials.
  • Operate Power Vibrators: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and achieve the desired finish.
  • Work at Heights: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Impart Desired Finish: Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Instruct Apprentices: Instruct apprentices in the art of concrete finishing, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Install Fixtures: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to complete the finishing process.
  • Apply Hardening Components: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, ensuring a durable finish.
  • Waterproof and Restore: Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to their original condition.
  • Repair and Resurface: Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Estimate Costs: Estimate costs and materials for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to complete tasks accurately.
