Senior Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions to join our team at BDO Canada. As a key member of our Advisory team, you will be responsible for leading a range of advisory assignments, including sell-side, buy-side, and capital raising initiatives. Your primary focus will be on the day-to-day execution and delivery of service on projects, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage advisory assignments, including sell-side, buy-side, and capital raising initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, both internal and external
- Conduct market and industry research, detailed financial analysis, and evaluate key drivers of financial performance
- Assist in the identification of potential acquisition targets, purchasers, and/or investors/lenders
- Generate new business opportunities within the Mergers and Acquisitions practice and BDO Canada
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in capital markets/corporate finance
- Strong work initiative, ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas, and motivated to be market-facing and driving relationships that lead to future work
