Job Title: Child Care Live-In Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Child Care Live-In Caregiver to join our team at Eric Michaud. As a live-in caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children in a loving and safe environment.

Job Description:Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional care and supervision to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties, including light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, snacks, and refreshments for the family.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment, adhering to our household's scent-free and non-smoking policies.
  • Engage in activities with the children, such as games, outings, and educational programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living space, adhering to our household's standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the family, providing regular updates on the children's activities and well-being.
  • Participate in household chores, including grocery shopping, meal planning, and cooking.
  • Assist with pet care and maintenance, ensuring the well-being of our furry friends.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in childcare, preferably in a live-in setting.
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and adults.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads, up to 45 kg (100 lbs), and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied schedules and tasks.
  • Reliability, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility.
