  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring our children have access to healthy and nutritious meals.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, providing a seamless experience for all.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them grow into confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, providing a fun and engaging experience.
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is always a top priority.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, providing reliable and trustworthy transportation.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence.
  • Cook healthy and delicious meals for the family, promoting a love of food and cooking.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Current legal ability to work in Canada.
  • Previous experience in this field of employment.
Work Environment

Our home is a non-smoking environment, and we require our caregiver to be physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks.

Language

We require our caregiver to be fluent in English or French, and to have excellent communication skills.Work Conditions

Overtime may be required, and the position is physically demanding. We require our caregiver to be organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
