Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Lecturer in Elective and General Surgery to join our team at the University of Saskatchewan. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering clinical veterinary care and teaching undergraduate students in elective and general surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical veterinary care within the Elective and Surgery service, with a focus on building a healthy and diverse caseload for clinical learning.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and vibrant team-based clinical service with excellence in client service.
- Coach veterinary students as they develop competence and confidence in the key elements of the framework for competency-based veterinary education.
- Work to incorporate recent veterinary medical evidence-based advances and enhance the surgical skills of undergraduates and technical staff.
- Collaborate professionally with people of diverse backgrounds and be a strong team player.
- Participate in after-hour emergency duty as a component of this position.
