Veterinary Surgery Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate veterinary surgeon to join our team as a clinical lecturer in elective and general surgery at the University of Saskatchewan's Western College of Veterinary Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical veterinary care within the Elective and Surgery service, with a 75% clinical commitment and 25% formal undergraduate teaching commitment.
- Contribute to building a healthy and diverse caseload for clinical learning, ensuring the development of a positive and vibrant team-based clinical service with excellence in client service.
- Coach veterinary students as they develop competence and confidence in the key elements of the framework for competency-based veterinary education.
- Work to incorporate recent veterinary medical evidence-based advances and enhance the surgical skills of undergraduates and technical staff.
- Collaborate professionally with people of diverse backgrounds and be a strong team player.
