About the Role:

The Senior Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing complex financial planning models, preparing recommendations based on forecasting information, and conducting market research. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Design and deliver financial business dashboards to measure sales activity and performance across all brands and divisions.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on the Canadian business' status against strategic and operational objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze cost data versus budget to ascertain financial performance and risk assessment.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in creating and enforcing business processes, procedures, and rules for financial reporting.
  • Inventory Management: Analyze store data to improve flow strategies based on inventory levels, stock capacity, visual layout, and design process improvements.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in developing monthly forecasts and annual budgets, as well as tracking and monitoring results.
  • Risk Management: Identify opportunities to increase Sales, Inventory Turnover, and Profitability, thereby increasing wholesale shipments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in retail, apparel, or sports-related industries.
  • Minimum of 5 years combined experience in planning and finance.
  • Previous experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is strongly desired.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications, including Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
