Job Summary

Premiere Custom Millwork and Fireplace Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC (computer numerically controlled) woodworking machine tool operator to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment, and replace parts as required
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions to ensure accurate production
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and lift heavy objects
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
