As a CNC Woodworking Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures, and other wood products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines to fabricate or repair wooden parts
  • Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Replace parts as required
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor skills
  • Computerized woodworking machine experience
  • Use of computer numerical control (CNC) machines
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a dusty environment
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
