Job Description

The successful candidate will have a college or CEGEP education and less than one year of experience in a related field. Key responsibilities include examining plans, drawings, and site layouts, inspecting construction of buildings and engineering structures, and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes.

Key Tasks
  • Examine Plans and Drawings: Review and analyze plans, drawings, and site layouts to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
  • Inspect Construction: Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure that work is being carried out in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
  • Evaluate Safety: Assess the safety of construction sites and ensure that workers are protected from harm.
  • Analyze Defects: Identify and report any defects or hazards found during inspections.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer
