Job RequirementsThis nursing position requires the successful candidate to work a commitment to permanent full-time work with shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
The hourly salary rate for this position is $39.76-$49.01, increasing to $50.73 with 25 years' experience. You may also be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
Eligibility Criteria- To be eligible for employment, please follow the steps outlined below:
- Once you obtain your license information, your eligibility for employment with Nova Scotia Health must be verified and match the screening criteria in our application process.
- As part of the application process, you will complete a formal assessment related to your nursing competencies. The assessments results will determine the orientation and transition to practice require. These recommendations, along with vacancies and capacity dates will be considered as part of your application.
- You will also be asked to provide information related to your official English language test scores.
- Your application will be reviewed and only those candidates who meet our specific criteria will be contacted
Successful candidates may be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan. The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $81,942 - $101,898.10.
