Job Summary

Costa Railings Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team. As a Welding Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding and metalworking techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes to ensure accurate fabrication and repair.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
Work Environment

As a Welding Fabricator, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with various locations. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and metalworking.
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
