Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Stock Transportation, a leading provider of pupil transportation services in Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Alberta. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance on our fleet of over 2,800 school buses.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in diesel engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Test-drive vehicles to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all relevant Federal, State/Provincial, and local guidelines.
  • Record time spent, parts used, and repairs conducted on company forms.
Requirements:
  • Certified technician with a 310T or 310S certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance, preferably in a heavy-duty setting.
  • Hands-on experience with diesel and gasoline engines, as well as computerized diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
