At Stock Transportation, we are seeking an experienced Senior Diesel Mechanic Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity based in Sunderland, Canada. As a Senior Diesel Mechanic Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of school buses, ensuring they are safe and reliable for our students and passengers.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy-duty fleet maintenance, with a strong focus on diesel engines. You should be certified in 310T or 310S and have hands-on experience with computerized diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, including electrical and electronic systems
- Maintain and repair brakes, steering, and suspension systems
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and inspections
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient and effective repairs
- Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy-duty fleet maintenance
- Certified in 310T or 310S
- Hands-on experience with computerized diagnostics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
