Job Summary

Greenstone Gold Mines is seeking a skilled Tool Crib Attendant to maintain the tool crib inventory and distribute supplies. This role reports to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor and requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue tools and equipment as required to support mine operations
  • Maintain accurate records of tools taken and returned, ensuring inventory levels are up-to-date
  • Identify and repair broken tools or arrange for repairs to minimize downtime
  • Replace missing tools and equipment to maintain a fully stocked crib
  • Ensure the parts room is clean, organized, and secure
Requirements
  • Self-motivated and safety-conscious individual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions
  • Forklift training is an asset, as is experience with parts manuals and identifying components
  • Prior experience in an industrial setting, particularly in a mine site environment, is highly valued
Work Environment

This role will be based in Geraldton, Ontario, with a 14/14 rotation. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
