Job Summary

Greenstone Gold Mines is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tool Crib Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for managing the tool crib inventory, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and distributed to our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of tools taken and returned, identify broken tools, and arrange for repairs or replacements.
  • Equipment Distribution: Issue tools as required to support our operations team.
  • Toolroom Maintenance: Ensure the toolroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Requirements
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with parts manuals and ability to identify components and parts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forklift Training: An asset for this role.
  • Industrial Experience: Prior experience in an industrial setting, particularly in a mine site environment.
