Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Quesada. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Effective Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Supervise Staff: Coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to ensure staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the required ingredients and supplies for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess inventory.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry is essential.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Skill Development: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, and Indigenous people.
