Job Title: Carpenter

About the Role:
Pleasant Homes Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial structures.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and install building materials, such as wood, wood substitutes, and steel
* Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
* Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
* Maintain and repair residences and wooden structures

Work Environment:
The work environment will be physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and handling heavy loads. You will be required to work at various locations, including construction sites, residential areas, and industrial plants.

Requirements:

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Strong physical fitness and ability to handle heavy loads
