Woodcraft Specialist

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 CAD, based on industry standards and the level of experience required.

We are seeking a skilled Woodcraft Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs, reading blueprints and determining work requirements, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood and other materials.

• Estimate Costs: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and/or material costs for each project
• Read Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
• Carpentry Tasks: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood and other materials
• Installation: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
• Project Coordination: Schedule and coordinate work on sites
• Team Instructing: Instruct and mentor apprentices as needed
• Maintenance: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
