Job Summary

As an Associate Portfolio Manager at Royal Bank of Canada, you will be a key member of a professional team responsible for building and managing a high-performance investment counselling franchise. You will work closely with experienced Investment Counsellors to develop customized investment strategies for high net worth individuals, trusts, and charitable foundations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve client inquiries and provide recommendations for resolution of complex situations.
  • Develop, document, and maintain a profile for each client, including next steps to increase and solidify the relationship.
  • Participate in regional/national projects to continuously improve client solutions and operational efficiencies.
  • Assist in the construction of customized investment strategies, models, proposals, and action plans for existing and potential clients.
  • Implement action plans and proactively manage client portfolios to ensure the highest level of return and service to the client.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of CFA level 1 with intention to complete.
  • CSC.
  • Minimum of 5 years investment industry experience.
  • Portfolio management experience (3 years plus).
  • University degree (preferably in business and/or economics).
