Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Lawtons. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care, counseling patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care, including medication reviews, health risk assessments, and disease state management.
  • Counsel patients on new therapies, tailoring education to individual needs and concerns.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation.
  • Participate in professional programs and collaborate with colleagues to provide excellence in health & wellness services.
  • Actively engage in all areas of Fusion to ensure patients experience seamless care and a consistent pharmacy experience.
  • Ensure prescription safety and prioritize technical functions to Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as required.
  • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends/developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Must be a Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, in the province of responsibility.
  • Injection and First Aid Certification.
  • Kroll software experience is preferred.
