Job Title: Senior Financial Decision Maker

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Decision Maker to join our client, a company in the energy industry, on a 12-month assignment. This role will involve working hybrid, with three days per week at their offices in Mississauga.

About the Role:
  • Lead and support data gathering and analysis for projects, driving improvements to analytical reporting in relation to projects.
  • Act as a key support contact for project reporting, tracking, managing, and responding to ad-hoc queries from management.
  • Hold project managers accountable for spend, perform monthly tracking and analysis to ensure targets are met.
  • Conduct financial forecasting to support decision-making for both planning and value creation.
Requirements:
  • A university degree with a focus on commerce or business administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • An accounting designation is considered an asset.
  • Effective communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to consolidate, analyze, and summarize large amounts of data from various sources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build formulas to support quantitative analysis, trend analysis, and exception reporting.
Compensation:

$83,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
