Welding Specialist

As a Welding Specialist at SAHI EXPRESS LTD., you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications and operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment. You will also read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, and examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications. Additionally, you will operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines, and fit, braze and torch-straighten metal. You will also determine weldability of materials, operate hoisting and lifting equipment, and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment. This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek and requires English language proficiency.
