**Job Summary**

At Metro, we're seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our Overnight Grocery team as a Part-Time Overnight Clerk. As a key member of our grocery department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.

**Requirements**

  • Customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for our customers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
