Department Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Store Supervisor to join our team at Navs Grocery. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that the store is visually appealing.
- Sales and Customer Service: Promote sales and provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure that stock levels are accurate and that any discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure that the store is clean, tidy, and well-maintained, including the maintenance of fixtures and equipment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, customer service, and inventory levels, providing analysis and recommendations for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or supervisory role
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week
This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift heavy loads.
