Packaging Production Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our production team at BC Craft Brewers Guild, a leading organization in the craft brewing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules, overseeing inventory management and control, managing procurement for raw materials and packaging, and analyzing production data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and optimize production schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of production orders.
- Oversee inventory management and control, ensuring that materials are ordered and stocked in alignment with production schedules.
- Manage procurement for raw materials and packaging, ensuring the best cost-quality balance while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production performance, reduce waste, and improve cost-efficiency.
- Proven leadership experience in production, ideally in a craft brewery or similar industry.
- Ability to think analytically and strategically, using data to inform decision-making and improve processes.
- Experience with production scheduling, inventory control, procurement, and cost management.
- Knowledge of brewing and beverage production processes is an asset.
- Proficiency in using production management software and ERP systems.
- Safety-conscious with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a production environment.
