About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at ASC(Midland) Facility Limited Partnership. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Development
    • Plan and develop menus that meet the quality standards of our company
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers
  • Kitchen Operations Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff
    • Ensure efficient kitchen operations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Implement and maintain food safety and quality control procedures
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure food meets our standards
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Train and develop kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge
    • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure staff are equipped to perform their roles
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
    • Monitor and control food costs
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
