Job Summary:

The Application Design Expert is responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions for OEM customer applications. This involves reviewing, developing, presenting, and supporting OEM machine control systems within a defined scope.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, with experience in developing and implementing technical solutions. They will also possess excellent consultative selling skills and be able to work effectively with customers and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop application solutions architectures for customers and sales teams.
- Support customers with development, implementation, and integration of Schneider OEM automation, control solutions, and IIoT solutions.
- Lead specification, design, analysis, and development of engineering projects within defined scope.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

- A technical education and/or engineering degree in a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of industrial automation working experience.
- Consultative selling skills.
- Motion experience (preferred).
- IIoT experience (asset).
- Programming experience of PLC.
- Configuration of HMI applications and Variable Speed Drives as parts of a solution package (asset).
- Working knowledge of various communication protocols, including Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, Ethernet I/P, SercosIII, CanOpen.
- Some experience with industrial automation applications in target segment material working, material handling, packaging, pump control, and hoisting applications (preferred).
- Work experience with industrial segments, such as robotics, motion, packaging, safety systems, and machine controls (preferred).
