About the Role

Ajax Hyundai/Genesis is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Sales Manager to lead our sales team to success. As a key leader, you will be responsible for motivating and guiding your team to achieve monthly targets by overseeing all aspects of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales pipeline, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategies.
  • Ensure positive guest experience is delivered throughout each stage of the sales process.
  • Manage inventory and purchase vehicles.
  • Be hands-on and involved in the daily operations, supporting the sales team directly, appraising vehicles, and purchasing inventory.
  • Review and plan monthly marketing and sales events according to the factory program and inventory supply to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly retail sales objectives from Hyundai Genesis.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Train, mentor, and coach the sales team.
  • Establish performance standards and measure KPIs.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment among the sales team.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize profitability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the automotive industry or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends effectively.
  • A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering results.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
