As a key member of our team at GreenX Hauling inc., the Commercial Driver - Heavy Vehicle Operation will be responsible for the safe transportation of goods across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and inspection. This role requires excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a high level of physical fitness. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
