We are seeking a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at HIMCAN CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish.



About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in supervising workers and projects.
  • They will be able to estimate costs and materials, read blueprints and drawings, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare production and other reports to ensure project progress is on track.
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure they are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills to complete tasks effectively.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all necessary safety protocols are followed.


Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Salary: Estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
