Job Summary

NorQuest College is seeking a highly skilled Project and Financial Analyst to join our Faculty of Arts and Sciences team. As a key member of our Business Operations team, you will provide expert financial and project management support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial management and analysis to ensure compliance with NorQuest College and partner standards.
  • Lead project management of key large projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain divisional budgets, including preparation of financial reports and analysis.
  • Provide financial and procurement support to faculty leadership, including contract and grant management.
  • Collaborate with external funders and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement financial and procurement processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to faculty leadership, including budget planning and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external funders and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or finance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working in a post-secondary institution or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of financial principles and software, including PeopleSoft and Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
