The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is dedicated to enhancing patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across the region, providing comprehensive health services and supporting essential administrative functions.

Position Overview:

This role involves the maintenance of managed security services and the support of cybersecurity practices within a critical Digital Shared Services environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring security alerts and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Supporting incident response initiatives.
  • Managing the security awareness program.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of enterprise IT experience with a focus on server virtualization, network management, and security administration.
  • Proficiency with ITSM tools for incident management.

Education:

  • Diploma in Information Technology.
  • Relevant vendor and industry certifications are considered advantageous.

Certification/Licensure/Registration:

  • A valid Manitoba driver's license is required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and information security frameworks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Office-based computer work with occasional lifting.
  • Participation in 'on call' rotation and potential for overtime.
  • Ability to manage competing demands effectively.
