Job Summary

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Prince Rupert. The estimated salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of culturally responsive and inclusive educational programs;
  • Collaborate with teachers and other education staff to integrate Indigenous content and resources into curricula;
  • Maintain relationships with local Indigenous communities and organizations to stay informed about relevant issues and initiatives;
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of professional development opportunities for educators on Indigenous education and cultural competency;
  • Participate in school-based and district-wide teams to support the implementation of School Improvement Plans and other initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

A certificate of qualification issued under the Teachers Act;A Bachelor of Education or equivalent;A thorough knowledge and understanding of local Indigenous culture, history, and communities;Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders;Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
