Job Summary

Bamrah Truck Repair Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Management: Safely move and store tools, equipment, and materials to maintain a well-organized workspace.
  • Surveying Support: Assist surveyors by holding stakes during site visits and ensuring accurate measurements.
  • Site Safety: Signal safety procedures to colleagues and the public, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by supervisors.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain clean machines and work areas, adhering to company standards.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Equipment Testing: Test and adjust units to specifications, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Assist in adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
  • Communication: Discuss work with supervisors and provide updates on progress.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 35-40 hour week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
Language and Work Environment

This is a permanent position, and the primary language of work is English.
