At Northern Health Authority, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist Grade II to join our team. As a Pharmacist Grade II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and treat patients, utilizing clinical and diagnostic reasoning to make informed decisions.
- Teach patients and others, both one-on-one and in groups, to promote health and wellness.
- Integrate best practice and current research evidence to support professional practice decisions and actions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, using verbal and written communication means.
- Apply critical thinking and decision-making skills to problem-solve and make informed decisions.
- Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy and current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or a combination of at least one year of hospital experience and advanced education courses.
- Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
- Comprehensive benefit packages, including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan for part-time and full-time employees.
- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service.
