We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at Paper Excellence.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Process Engineer to lead process control, testing, and sampling techniques that drive mill performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process optimization strategies to improve production quality, reduce costs, and enhance safety standards.
  • Evaluate existing processes and equipment to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Science with 2-3 years of experience in kraft pulp milling or a related field.
  • Proven track record of improving process efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action principles.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
