Advanced Clinical Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our team at the Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre.
The successful candidate will travel throughout the province, providing direct clinical services to Indigenous children, youth, families, and communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess community capacity and work collaboratively with complex systems of care to optimize and strengthen existing resources.
- Deliver trauma-informed and culturally sensitive services to reduce the impact of trauma and empower support networks.
- Develop strong collaborative networks and make meaningful contributions to strengthen provincial systems and supports.
- Registered or eligible as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Minimum one year full-time equivalent experience working with children and youth and their families, providing a wide range of community-based mental health services.
- Valid class 5 BC Driver's license with no restriction or equivalent.
- Five years or more experience working with children and youth with moderate to severe and enduring mental health challenges, and their families.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities practicing self-governance or with Designated Aboriginal Agencies.
- Experience providing direct interventions around trauma-based behaviours of children and youth.
- A competitive salary range of $84,377.05 annually.
