Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care, facilitating admission and discharge processes, and ensuring adequate staffing levels. You will work closely with our healthcare team to promote a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient care and facilitate admission and discharge processes
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and promote a safe patient care environment
- Work closely with the healthcare team to promote effective communication and collaboration
- Assist in establishing and maintaining standards of patient care
- Provide leadership and support to the healthcare team as needed
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
- Current registration with BCCNM
- Five years of recent acute care experience with one year supervisory experience
- NRP or willingness to complete within one year
- ACLS/TNCC or willingness to complete in one year
- PALS would be an asset
