Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Dawson Creek and District Hospital. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in facilitating the admission, discharge, and patient transfer processes, ensuring the efficient allocation and utilization of beds, and supporting patients in receiving quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate patient/resident care when necessary
* Facilitate patient flow through the efficient allocation and utilization of beds
* Ensure adequate staffing levels and support patients receiving quality care
* Assist Program Leaders in establishing and maintaining standards of patient care

Requirements:

* Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
* Current registration with BCCNM
* Five years of recent acute care experience with one year supervisory experience
* An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a supervisory role is an asset
