Job Title: Home Support Worker - APL Private Household

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at APL Private Household. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Administer medications as required
  • Provide companionship and social interaction
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Perform other tasks as required to support the client's needs

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality

Working Conditions:

  • Non-smoking environment
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis

Language: English

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
