Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at APL Private Household. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
  • Administer medications as required
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and physical well-being
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Perform other tasks as required to support the client's needs
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
Work Environment:

Our clients live in non-smoking homes, and we offer optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in our household.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate the client's needs.
