Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at APL Private Household. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
  • Administer medications as required
  • Provide companionship and social interaction
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Perform other tasks as required to support the client's needs
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment. Optional accommodation may be available at no charge on a live-in basis.
