Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to ensure that our kitchen staff are able to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to provide high-quality food and service.
- Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide ongoing training and coaching to our kitchen staff to ensure that they are aware of and following all relevant health and safety procedures.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Plan and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified kitchen staff to join our team.
- Ensure that Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and service to ensure that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns to ensure that we are providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management to ensure that we are meeting our goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
